FEMA Blue Roof application site moving to Lehigh

FORT MYERS, Fla. FEMA’s Operation Blue Roof is moving into Lehigh Acres.

The agency is transferring its sign-up location from the Growth Management Center in Immokalee to the Walmart on 2523 Lee Blvd. Beginning Wednesday, FEMA representatives will be at the Walmart from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, emergency management officials said.

Homeowners can go there to apply for the program and complete the Right of Entry form that allows government employees and contractors onto their property to assess damage and install a temporary covering.
