Suspect strikes Fort Myers business twice in one month

FORT MYERS, Fla. A suspect accused of robbing a store twice remained at large Sunday, according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

The suspect was first accused of ripping an air conditioning unit out of Creative Windows on Sept. 6 at 3540 Canal St., crime stoppers said. Surveillance video showed the suspect taking a TV, laptop and drill set.

Surveillance video showed the suspect inside the store again at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, crime stoppers said. This time the suspect took a laptop and a computer monitor.

Anyone with information should call crime stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
