LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. A mobile pet pantry will be open Friday to residents who may have questions and concerns after Hurricane Irma, county spokeswoman Betsy Clayton said.

Lee County Domestic Animal Services will host the mobile pet pantry from 9 a.m. to noon at Veterans Community Park on 55 Homestead Rd. South, Clayton said.

Pet food will be distributed at no charge and a veterinarian will be onsite to provide basic vet care and address questions, Clayton said.

The mobile pantry was made possible by donations from the ASPCA, Bailey’s Way Rescue and Senior Paws Sanctuary, Clayton said.
