Body found in Lehigh Acres home

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. A body was found at a home in the area of Leonard Boulevard and Hawalaska Street Thursday, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, but he later succumbed to his injuries, deputies said.

The circumstances leading up to the victim’s death are unclear.

The death remains under investigation and the scene is very active, deputies said.
