Fluid spill closes Plantation, Crystal in south Fort Myers

SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. A hydraulic fluid spill has shut down the traffic circle at the intersection of Plantation Road and Crystal Drive, Lee County deputies said.

The intersection is expected to be closed for several hours as Department of Transportation crews clean up and assess the situation.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and to avoid the area.
