Elias Yacob/ WINK GOLDEN GATE ESTATES, Fla. A 25-year-old man was killed in a crash Tuesday evening at 27th Street Southwest and White Boulevard, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Christopher Katinsley, of Naples, was riding a 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle around 5:35 p.m. when he was hit by a 2016 Mitsubishi Fuso truck that didn’t stop at a stop sign, according to the FHP. Katinsley was going east on White Boulevard approaching 27th Street Southwest and the truck, driven by 30-year-old Eleazar Lozano Calderon of Naples, was headed south on 27th Street Southwest, the FHP said. Katinsley was taken to Physicians Regional Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries, according to State troopers. He was not wearing a helmet. Lozano was unhurt, the FHP said. Charges are pending a further investigation.
