Tee off, help kids at South Fort Myers golf classic

SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. Enthusiasts and novices alike can golf for a good cause Friday at the Gravity Benefits Sunrise Rotary ProAm Classic.

Registration for the third annual event begins at 10 a.m., and there will be a shotgun start at 12 p.m. at Forest Country Club on 6100 Partridge Club Road.

Proceeds benefit the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools, which provides assistance in the form of scholarships for children, according to the organization’s website.
