SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. A 30-year-old man was arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly driving the wrong way on Interstate 75, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Oscar Castillo, of Cape Coral, is facing charges of driving under the influence, possession of cocaine and smuggling contraband into a detention facility, according to State troopers.

The incident happened around 2:58 a.m. near mile marker 148, according to the FHP. A State trooper was driving northbound on Interstate 75 as a Nissan Sentra headed south in the northbound lane.

The trooper saw headlights approaching and changed lanes to avoid the Sentra, the FHP said. The trooper then stopped the Sentra near mile marker 147.

The driver, later identified as Castillo, was trying to get home from the Fort Rock concert, State troopers said.

Castillo was released Sunday on $11,000 bond. His next court appearance is set for May 30.
