FORT MYERS, Fla. A five-vehicle crash snarled traffic at the intersection of State Road 82 and Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard on Saturday morning, the Fort Myers Police Department said. The westbound and eastbound lanes of State Road 82 were shut down at approximately 9 a.m. The southbound and northbound lanes of Shoemaker Boulevard were shut down as well, police said. All of the lanes were reopened right before 1 p.m. Motorists were asked to seek an alternative route, police said. Injuries range from minor to critical, police said. No further information is immediately available.
