Study: SWFL air among nation’s cleanest

FORT MYERS, Fla. Three Southwest Florida cities topped a nationwide list for clean air quality, according to a report released by the American Lung Association.

The Fort Myers-Naples-Cape Coral metropolitan area tied for first for lowest Ozone and daily particle pollution levels, the State of the Air 2017 study said. The area is one of six in the country without any days over the past year in which ozone or particle pollution reached unhealthy levels.
