PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. A 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection to two threats made at The Academy School, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

The threats were written on a wall of a boys restroom at the school on 18300 Cochran Blvd., according to deputies. The first threat happened on April 7. The school had an increased law enforcement presence, and multiple students did not attend classes.

The second threat happened on Monday, and appeared to be made by the same suspect, deputies said.

The suspect was taken to the Charlotte County Jail and is facing a felony charge of false report planting of a bomb WMD on state-owned property, according to a press release.

It’s unclear when he’ll appear in court.

No further information was immediately available.
