FORT MYERS, Fla. LeeSar President Bob Simpson will retire after serving with the company for 15 years, the company said in a statement on Monday.

A successor was not immediately named.

LeeSar, which provides medical resources to health care providers across Florida, experienced approximatley 18 to 20 percent annual growth under Simpson’s leadership, the statement said.

“Bob’s visionary leadership transformed the company into an award winning and nationally recognized resource that allows member health systems to become more efficient, while also improving patient care,” Lee Health CEO Jim Nathan said.

It was not immediately known when Simpson’s last day will be.

“I’ve been blessed to work with some of the greatest minds in business and medicine to bring innovative solutions that improve the care we provide in this community,” Simpson said in the statement. “It’s allowed caregivers to focus on what’s important: the patients.”
