Dunbar Easter Parade rolls through Fort Myers for 73rd time

FORT MYERS, Fla. Bunny costumes, dancing teams and elaborately decorated cars were just a few of the sights Sunday at the 73rd Annual Dunbar Easter Parade.

The parade began at 3 p.m. at Ford Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, took a left on Palm Avenue and a right on Edison Avenue before ending at the Stars Complex.

People lined the streets to watch and collect candy from parade partcipants as they went by, though police tried to discourage the practice so children wouldn’t come so close to the floats and cars.
