Suspect sought following Lee County store robbery

SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. A suspect accused of robbing a Circle K remains at large, the Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said.

The robbery took place at around 1:40 a.m. Monday morning at the convenience store on 12251 Metro Parkway.

The suspect went into the store, demanded money from the store clerk and left the scene in an unknown direction with the cash, according to a press release. It’s unclear if the suspect was armed.

The suspect was described between 5’6” and 5’8” tall. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, faded jeans, a blue-and-white bandana covering his face and a white towel on his right hand, according to a press release.
