CAPE CORAL, Fla. — A group of unknown thieves burglarized at least three mailboxes from homes Saturday night on Northeast Eighth Place. Nearby residents spotted a car driving up to each mailbox and stealing what was inside, including bills and some Christmas cards, they said. The thieves left anything they deemed unimportant on the ground, according to the residents. Mail theft is considered a federal offense.
