PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) – President-elect Donald Trump may be spending Christmas in Palm Beach if the Coast Guard’s advisory is any indicator.

The Coast Guard said Thursday that a security zone would be in effect for the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal waters near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club starting Friday through January 3.

Coast Guard spokesman Eric Woodall acknowledged Trump was planning to visit the area, but declined to confirm specific dates.

The weather in New York has dipped into freezing temperatures recently with snow flurries over the weekend. The Palm Beach Post reports Trump has spent the holidays at his sunny South Florida home for the past 20 years.
