Gated neighborhoods not immune from campaign solicitors

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Coordinators of both the Democratic and Republican parties in Lee County say they discouage volunteers from entering gated communities to stump for their respective presidential candidates.

But that hasn’t stopped campaign fliers from showing up on the doors of some who live behind the gates, raising concern about where the solicitors are coming from.
