LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — The Lee County Supervisor of Elections Office is now blaming a “manual data entry issue” for a ballot discrepancy affecting 500 residents. The office originally cited a mapping error for ballots that didn’t include Lehigh Acres Municipal Services Improvement District candidates. The affected voters reside between Interstate-75 and the Lee-Hendry counties line with state roads 80 and 82 as northern and southern boundaries. The ballots show all other candidates who are running for office in other races.
