Deputies ID victim in suspicious Port Charlotte death

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – Charlotte County deputies are investigating the death of James Burbank, 57, who was discovered dead at his home in the Harborview Mobile Home Park on Harborview Road on Tuesday.

His death is being considered suspicious, Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Skip Conroy said Tuesday morning.

Deputies said there hasn’t been a recent history of 9-1-1 calls at the home.

No further information was immediately available.
