FORT MYERS, Fla. — Gov. Rick Scott continued his push for Florida residents to eliminate areas of standing water Monday as he spoke at a roundtable on the Zika virus at the Department of Health in Collier County headquarters. The Florida Department of Health confirmed a new non-travel-related case Monday in Miami-Dade County, bringing the statewide total of locally transmitted cases to 43.
