Spotty morning storms to become scattered by p.m. hours

FORT MYERS, Fla. — A mix of sun and clouds will be the rule Wednesday across Southwest Florida.

A few spotty storms are possible in the morning, when it will otherwise be warm and humid. Those storms will become scattered in the afternoon and evening, with heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds possible.

Highs will be near 93, with heat indices between 100 and 105. Lows tonight will drop to near 76.
