LEHIGH ACRES, Fla – Hundreds of people gathered to remember the life of 18-year-old Stef’an Strawder. Strawder was one of the victims in the Club Blu mass shooting on July 25. Strawder was remembered as a beloved basketball player for Lehigh Senior High School. On Saturday, his teammates dressed in white tuxes to honor their fallen friend. A basketball hoop and the chairs the team use on the sidelines were also brought in for the service. “I want us to remember the blessing we’ve all been given in knowing someone who, in such a short period of time, left an imprint on the hearts of so many,” Coach Dawn McNew said. “We are truly blessed.” Strawder was planning on continuing his basketball career in college.
