FGCU police officer arrested for alleged stalking

SAN CARLOS PARK, Fla. — A Florida Gulf Coast University police officer has been arrested for allegedly violating the terms of a restraining order, authorities said.

Michael Harbury, a patrol officer who’s worked with campus police since 2003, showed up near the home of a woman who had requested the stalking injunction against him, according to officials.

He’s out on bond. The university said he’s been placed on administrative leave.
