FORT MYERS, Fla. — Another day of near-record heat will keep Southwest Florida sweating Thursday.

The high is expected to come in at 95 in Fort Myers, just off the record of 97. It’ll feel like 100 to 105 with the heat index.

The morning will be warm and humid, with mostly sunny and mostly dry skies at the beginning. Partly cloudy conditions will arrive for lunch, with a few storms possible in southern and eastern Collier County.

Heat, humidity and a mix of sun and clouds will mark the afternoon and evening, when spotty storms will gather across the area.

Overnight lows will dip only to near 77.
