Fort Myers agency approves public money for microbrewery

FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency approved $15,000 in city money for a planned downtown microbrewery.

Millennial Brewing asked for the money to help renovate a 63,000-square-foot building located on Royal Palm Avenue where it plans to open in the fall. The city likes the idea of having the brewery on the southeast edge of downtown.
