$1K reward for information on Upper Captiva arsons

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Authorities are searching for the person(s) involved in an Upper Captiva burglary that ended with two structures being destroyed by fire.

Just before midnight on June 10, officials say two buildings located at 11441 Peguan Shores were broken into, then intentionally set on fire.

A ladder was later found near the front window of one of the residences, which the suspect(s) used to gain entry, authorities said.

Several opened bottles of alcohol and food were also found within the home and numerous items were stolen. One of the homes was deemed to be a total loss.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
