NAPLES, Fla.- The reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot a Collier County mother last December now stands at $15,000, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said.

Just after midnight on Sunday, December 13, Danielle Trevino drove to her mother’s house on the 3700 block of Randall Boulevard in the Golden Gate Estates area to pick up her child.

As she approached the front door, Trevino was ambushed by gunfire, authorities said, and was shot several times in the stomach and left forearm.

She was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, but has recovered over the last few months, officials said.

An anonymous donor is now adding $14,000 to Crime Stoppers’ $1,000 reward in the search for the person who shot Trevino.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers and $14,000 from the anonymous donor.  Tips may also be made online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com or by texting a tip to CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.
