FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) – Authorities say they’ve arrested the man who ran over and killed an elderly man during an argument at a South Florida park. The Broward Sheriff’s Office reports in a news release that 26-year-old Kyle Hannover was arrested Thursday. He faces a murder charge. Officials say Hannover and 81-year-old Luis Dominguez got into an argument Wednesday evening near the boat ramps at Holiday Park, located on the edge of the Everglades. At some point, detectives say Hannover hurled a rock at Dominguez’s car. This prompted Dominguez to step out of his vehicle. The release says Hannover then got into his pickup truck and drove directly toward Dominguez, striking the older man. Officials say Hannover fled the area. Dominguez was airlifted to a Hollywood hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
