pace intv FORT MYERS, Fla.- Last year girls represented more than 31 percent of the total juvenile justice population. One statewide nonprofit organization wants to change that statistic. The PACE Center for Girls provides an academic, educational and emotional support structure for young women 11-18 who are in danger of entering the juvenile justice system. Dr. Annette St. Pierre-Mackoul and Brandy Battles, a PACE student, stopped by the studio to discuss the PACE Center for Girls.
