Suspects sought in Lee County cloned credit card case

FORT MYERS, Fla.- A man and a woman are suspected of going on a shopping spree with someone else’s credit card information.

On Feb. 29, the victim noticed a series of fraudulent charges made with her credit card.

Three separate purchases, for several hundred dollars each, were made at two Lee County Target stores totaling $1,169.

Surveillance video from the stores shows a man and a woman using a credit card with the victim’s information to make the fraudulent purchases.

Detectives say the victim still had physical possession of her credit card, and it’s unclear when or where her card information was compromised.

Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspects are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
