NAPLES, Fla. – The second race of the swamp buggy season is ready to make some noise at the Florida Sports Park for the Budweiser Winter Classic, just like they’ve been doing three times a year for the past 70 years.

Teams from around the state of Florida have arrived to compete in the two day double elimination race on both Saturday and Sunday, January 30 and 31. Five classes will race their way around the track, known as the “Mile of Mud,” in hopes of being crowned race champion.

Children 12 and under are admitted free, tickets and VIP packages can be purchased by clicking here.

Swamp buggy’s have been around for decades, considered a true real Florida thrill and pastime. Built with NASCAR engines, reaching speeds of 90 mph there’s nothing more spectacular than seeing swamp buggy’s battle it out as they race one mile around the wet mud track.

The Florida Sports Park is located at 8250 Collier Boulevard in Naples.
