WINK News Feeds Families Hunger Walk two days away

FORT MYERS, Fla. – For the 8th year, WINK News and the Harry Chapin Food Bank, along with several community partners have teamed up to fight hunger at the WINK News Feeds Families Hunger Walk.

Families, businesses and teams from across Southwest Florida are expected to attend and participate at Miromar Outlets on Saturday January 16th. Walk registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and walkers take off at 9:30 a.m. with a goal of raising more than $330,000 for the Harry Chapin Food Bank.

The WINK News Feeds Families Hunger Walk is the largest annual fundraising event for the Harry Chapin Food Bank, supporting more than 150 partner agencies throughout five counties in Southwest Florida.

Over the past seven years the WINK News Feeds Families Hunger Walk has raised $1.6 million for the Harry Chapin Food Bank, just last year distributing 18.4 million pounds of food throughout Southwest Florida. Miromar Outlets is located at 10801 Corkscrew Road in Estero.
