LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – One man was injured in a shooting at the 7-Eleven on Lee Boulevard and Gunnery Road in Lehigh Acres Wednesday night.

“He just pulled out a gun from his pocket waistband or something,” said the victim, Sebastian Christmas.

Christmas says he lived frightening moments being caught in the middle of a shooting spree.

“I thought it was like, you know, fireworks or something like because it happened so fast. You know with all the glass like that flying around my car and I was like ‘no, no, no, that guy shot my vehicle,'” said Christmas.

The bullet went straight through his windshield and nearly missed Christmas.

“I was afraid I was shot somewhere and I didn’t know it,” explained Christmas, “glass was all over me, all over my face, I had bullet fragments inside my hair here.”

Christmas flagged down an officer nearby, calling for help, while the suspect, later identified as John Hall, began firing some more.

“By this time, he ran over in the 7-Eleven parking lot and was shooting, shooting in the air,” said Christmas.

Lee County deputies say they saw Hall shoot the 7-Eleven’s roof, then he fell over and deputies were able to use a Taser to take him into custody.
