Woman shot outside Golden Gate Estates home

NAPLES, Fla.- A woman was shot outside of her parents’ house on Randall Boulevard in Golden Gate Estates, as she was picking up her child early Sunday morning, Collier County deputies confirmed.

Deputies are searching for the suspect who may have been waiting for the victim outside a nearby home. The suspect fled the scene in a black Ford F-150, deputies said.

The victim was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies shut down sections of Randall Boulevard, near Everglades Boulevard, during the investigation, but all roads are now back open.
