Marco Island man fires shots during fight with his wife

MARCO ISLAND, Fla.- A Marco man is under arrest after he fired his gun during a fight with his wife.

Police said Robert McGwire fired his 9mm around 11p.m. Sunday night. They say he and his wife were fighting when the gun went off on Spinnaker Drive. When police arrived they pulled Mrs. McGwire from the home but said Robert McGwire barricaded himself inside.

Eventually McGwire came out peacefully and was arrested. No one was injured and charges are pending.
