2 Lehigh stores robbed at gunpoint

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla – Deputies are looking for the same suspect linked to two Lehigh Acres stores robbed at gunpoint, in less than 30 minutes.

The first robbery occurred at the Family Dollar, located at 1111 Homestead Road, just after 9 p.m. Saturday night.

Deputies say a man in a camo jacket and wearing a black plastic mask pointed his gun at the clerk and demanded cash.

While investigating that robbery, a second one occured at 9:30 p.m. A man fitting the same description went into the Dollar Tree, located at 5525 Lee Boulevard and again demanded all the money from the cash register at gun point.

The suspect is described as 6 feet tall, with a thin build, and is believed to be in his 30s.  Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
