FORT MYERS, Fla. – If you think you can handle a dark walk through the woods with some spooky and frightening creatures, the Calusa Nature Center’s Haunted Walk might be for you, if you dare.

Celebrating their 31st year, the Haunted Walk takes you through various parts of the hiking trails, boardwalks and tunnels around the nature center grounds, with surprises waiting around every corner.

This year’s theme is “Freak Show,” and you’ll definitely feel as if a frightening circus freak show has taken over the nature center, as creatures chase and scare you through the trails and haunted maze. Tickets are $10 per person, the Haunted Walk also serves as the largest annual fundraiser for the Calusa Nature Center, supporting their mission and care for animals.

The Haunted Walk is not recommended for anyone under the age of 16 and runs nightly through the week leading up to Halloween, Oct. 23 through Halloween night on Oct. 31.
