Deal of the Day: Halloween treats

FORT MYERS, Fla. – This week places around Southwest Florida are helping you to celebrate Halloween for free.

South County Regional Library in Estero will hold a zombie makeup workshop for teens Tuesday, October 27 at 6:15 p.m. All material will be provided. For more information click on this link or call 239-479-4636.

Kids and teens can show up Saturday, October 31 from 11 a.m. until noon at the Bonita Springs Public Library for an hour of Halloween art. The library will provide all the supplies. Click here for more information.

Mike Greenwell’s Bat-A-Ball & Family Fun Park in Cape Coral will hold its 24th annual Safe Trick or Treat event Friday, October 29 from 5 p.m until 8 p.m. Kids 12 and under get in free and can come dressed in a costume. There is a two-dollar parking fee. For more information, click here.

Also on Friday, October 29, a free movie is playing at Centennial Park in Fort Myers. You can enjoy a free concert which starts at 6:30 p.m. then stay to watch the movie “Tomorrowland” which starts at 8 p.m. For more information click here.

Two shopping centers will hold trick or treat events on October 31. Miromar Outlets in Estero will hold its Mall-o-ween event from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers will hold its Howl-o-ween event event from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
