PHILADELPHIA (AP) – Police are investigating whether a photo a Philadelphia man posted on Facebook of what he said was $60,000 triggered a home invasion that left him dead.

Fifty-year-old Tony Harris last week uploaded a photo of his wife with a wad of money. The caption said: “I misplaced $60,000. I hope my wife didn’t go shopping with it.”

Three men entered the couple’s home Monday night in the Kingsessing section and demanded money.

Harris was shot and died Tuesday.

His nephew, Anthony Fleming, tells the Philadelphia Inquirer (http://bit.ly/1GGTVeY ) the post was a joke and the pile of cash was made up of $1 bills with $20 bills on top.

Homicide Capt. James Clark says it’s possible the photo is connected to the case.

Police are looking for three suspects.
