FORT MYERS, Fla.- A couple vacationing in Southwest Florida had their car go up in flames Saturday afternoon. The New Port Richie couple pulled into a 7-Eleven at the corner of College Parkway and U.S. 41 Saturday afternoon to get gas. They told WINK News suddenly their car caught fire. The steering wheel of the red Honda was completely charred. Firefighters said it appeared the fire was caused by an electrical malfunction.
