Courtesy: Richard Massey DAVIE, Fla. (AP) – Police in Florida say a small plane made an emergency landing on Interstate 595 west of Fort Lauderdale. Davie police Capt. Dave Engle says the plane apparently “made contact” with a vehicle on the highway when it landed on the westbound shoulder of I-595 on Thursday morning. He says he doesn’t yet know if anyone was injured. The westbound lanes of the interstate were shut down as authorities investigated. No further details were immediately available.
