Erika is no longer a tropical cyclone

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Tropical Storm Erika is no longer a tropical cyclone, but its remnant moisture will still be affecting Southwest Florida over the next several days.
WINK News Meteorologist Janine Albert says heavy rains will be the biggest concern in our area due to already saturated grounds from high August rainfall. The remnants of Erika will begin tracking into the Eastern Gulf on Sunday, and the tropical rains are expected to continue into the early parts of the week.
