Husband saves his wife from buring RV

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – Charred metal is really all that’s left of an RV. An RV went up in flames Tuesday morning in Charlotte County. Now a family is homeless, but they have a hero to thank for saving their lives.

“I heard her screaming out the window help, I ran as fast as I could,” says Bryan Wood, who saved his wife from their burning RV.

Wood heard his wive’s scream blaring through their Peace River Shores community. Thick black smoke was pouring out of their RV.

“I was screaming because I couldn’t get out the front, I had to go out the back window,” says Stacey Wood, Bryan’s wife.

Stacy wood was making breakfast for her husband. All of a sudden, her stove caught fire and she was trapped inside her home.

“I was out the window and he had to pull me through.. it just went, the smoke was horrible it just went, I’ve never seen anything like that in my life,” says Stacey Wood.

Their camper is completely burned. Charlotte County fire put out the flames before it could spread to other homes. Now Bryan, is being called a hero, he saved his wife’s life.
