NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.- Crews are on the scene of a two-alarm house fire on Sandy Pines Circle, off Interstate 75 and Bayshore Road. Firefighters were first called to the home around 2:30 p.m. and say the fire has been 100 percent contained. Officials say the fire started in the garage which is now completely destroyed. Much of house also suffered heavy smoke damage. No one was injured in the fire but the homeowners, who were not home at the time, have been displaced. The Bayshore Fire Department tells WINK News a faulty water heater is to blame.
