MGN Online KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) – A central Florida dad has been charged with child neglect after allegedly falling on his infant twins, breaking their legs. The children’s mother brought one of the 2-month old babies into the hospital Monday and was told the child had a broken leg and other fractures. Daniel Tobar said he fell asleep on the child and didn’t realize the injury was severe. He then brought his other son to the hospital because the child has similar swelling. Doctors confirmed he also had a broken leg. Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives questioned Tobar on Tuesday where he admitted tripping and falling on top of them while carrying them to their cribs. Authorities said he was charged with child neglect because did not seek medical treatment and was initially untruthful. The investigation is on-going with additional charges pending.
