LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Investigators need your help tracking down a credit card thief.

The victim says two cars were parked outside his North Fort Myers home on Deal Road during the overnight hours of Saturday, June 27 and Sunday morning, June 28.

On Sunday, the victim received a fraud alert from one of his credit card companies indicating suspicious activity associated with his card.

He immediately checked his car and found that his wallet, containing cash and credit cards, had been stolen and that his other belongings had been rifled through.

A second vehicle, which was also left unlocked, had also been burglarized, with money removed from the center console.

After contacting the credit card company, the victim learned that one of his cards had been used at various locations that morning, including a gas station at I-75 and Bayshore Road and the North Fort Myers Wal Mart.

Surveillance cameras captured images of a man using the victim’s stolen card to make a $200 purchase at Wal-Mart.
