HANSON, Mass.- It was a traffic stop fit for a hero. A soldier enlisted Massachusetts police to help him surprise his mom when he came home for a visit. Darlene MacAllister was pulled over by a police officer who then distracted her long enough for her son to come up behind her and surprise her! Alan MacAllister, an Army engineer based at Fort Carson, Colorado, says the look on his mom’s face was priceless. “I can’t explain it. It’s one of those looks like, so happy but so pissed off at the same time. I got her,” said MacAllister. The family will be together through the Fourth of July holiday. MacAllister’s mom says she already has plans to prank her son back.
