Carnival adds another ship at Port Canaveral

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) – Canaveral Cruise Lines is adding another ship a bit earlier than planned to its fleet based out of Port Canaveral.

Port officials said last week that the ship, Carnival Magic, will make its home at the port starting next April instead of December.

Carnival Magic joins two other Carnival ships, Valor and Sunshine, coming to the port next year.

Carnival Magic will take over Carnival Valor’s seven-day cruise program from Port Canaveral.

Carnival Valor will instead be used for five-day and eight-day trips.
