LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- Authorities are on the scene of a deadly crash on Milwaukee Boulevard near Homestead Road. Florida Highway Patrol officials tell WINK News a truck involved in the crash pulled out in front of a black car that was traveling north on Homestead Road. FHP also says heavy rain at the time of the crash could have played a roll. According to troopers, two people who were riding in a four door Volkswagen died on the scene and two others were transported to the hospital. The driver of the VW had serious injuries. FHP tells WINK News the are still not sure if the truck driver will face any criminal charges.
