FORT MYERS Fla. — City leaders held a meeting today at a Fort Myers church to allow citizens to discuss any concerns or regarding a drainage project along Second Street in Fort Myers. The project is scheduled to begin June 15th and will cost an estimated 1.2 million dollars. A project consultant told WINK News that the project is “pretty simple.” Work is estimated to be complete by the end of this year. Older 24″ drainage pipes will be replaced by newer 42″ drainage pipes.
